  1. Open MDFILESTORAGE and choose Profile from the sidebar.
  2. Review your remaining files, storage, monthly uploads, and maximum file size before adding more Markdown files.
  3. Use the activity and storage sections to spot recent work, large files, favorite files, and folders that use the most space.

Cleaner sidebar navigation for everyday work

  1. Open MDFILESTORAGE and use the sidebar to move straight to Dashboard, Create, Manage, or your API pages.

  1. Choose Create when you want to start a new Markdown file quickly.
  2. Find newly created files under My files in Manage.

  4. Keep folder cleanup simple by moving or deleting files before removing a folder.

  1. Check your dashboard usage summary before adding another Markdown file.
  2. Upload one .md file when your plan has room for another file.

  4. Return after a subscription change and continue with the limits for your active plan.

Send Markdown from your favorite tools

  1. Create a private access key from your account settings before connecting another tool.
  2. Send Markdown from an external tool, script, or automation into the folder where it belongs.

  1. Open Create or Manage and choose the Markdown file you want to review.

  4. Switch back to editing when you spot something to improve, then save the same file.

  1. Open Create or Manage and start writing as usual in the editor area.

Pin important Markdown files with Favorites in Manage

You can now mark key files as favorites and access them from a dedicated Favorites area in Manage.

  1. Open Manage and find the file you want to keep close.
  2. Use the three-dot menu and choose Add to favorites.
  3. Use the Favorites area on the left to jump back to important files instantly.
  4. Choose Remove from favorites any time to keep the list focused.

Organize your notes with folders and quick actions

You can now structure your Markdown files with nested folders and handle common file actions from a cleaner menu flow.

  1. Open Manage and create your top-level folders first, like Work, Personal, or Archive.
  2. Use the folder action menu to add subfolders, then move files into the right place.
  3. Use the three-dot action menu on any file to rename, move, or delete without leaving the list.
  4. Use search to jump to the folder or file you need, then continue organizing from there.

Markdown preview sessions are now easier to manage with pinned tabs, safer fullscreen controls, quick file cleanup, and smoother saving from anywhere in the preview.

  1. Open the app and go to Manage.
  2. Open one or more Markdown files with the Manage button.
  3. Pin the tabs you want to keep and close the rest when your file list gets busy.
  4. Use fullscreen preview when you want fewer distractions while reading or editing.
  5. Delete files you no longer need from the Manage list after confirming the action.

Write faster in Markdown preview with smarter in-editor suggestions

Markdown preview now helps you format as you type with context-aware suggestions, quick keyboard selection, and cleaner inline formatting while you read.

  1. Open your file in Manage, then switch to Edit inside the preview panel.
  2. Start a new line to see structure suggestions like headings, lists, checklists, and quotes.
  3. Continue writing in a sentence to get inline options such as links, bold, italic, and inline code.
  4. Use arrow keys to choose a suggestion, then press Tab or Enter to insert it.
  5. Press Escape to close suggestions when you want to keep typing normally.

Manage more Markdown files with tabbed previews

The app now lets you open Markdown files in a tabbed preview space, switch between files, edit from the preview, and save only when there are changes.

  1. Open the app and choose Manage.
  2. Find the Markdown file you want from the searchable list.
  3. Use the Manage button to open the file in the preview area.
  4. Open more files to create tabs, then switch between them as you work.
  5. Use Edit when you want to make changes, then Save when the file is ready.

Your private writing desk is now faster and cleaner: secure sign-in, drag-and-drop uploads, quick plain-text preview, manual save editing, and a comfortable light/dark reading switch.

  1. Sign in once to open your private Markdown files.
  2. Drop a .md file into the upload area or use the upload button.
  3. Open any file from the list for instant plain-text preview.
  4. Edit your notes in the built-in editor without leaving the page.
  5. Use Save changes when you want full control of what is stored.
  6. Delete files you no longer need from the same screen.
  7. Switch between light and dark mode based on your reading preference.
